Effective communication is the foundation of positive and cooperative working relationships. In this course, the student will learn proper and effective communication techniques. You can choose to receive either Water or Wastewater CEUs, not both.
This course is designed to familiarize the target audience about Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), GenX chemicals, and Endocrine Disrupting Compounds (EDC). PFAS, GenX Chemicals, and EDC are emerging contaminants. This course will familiarize individuals with emerging contaminants. The audience will learn about exposure concerns, industrial uses, associated problems, and removal methods. The course is designed to educate operators about compounds that are found in water - compounds that will be needed to be treated in future facility operations. The goal of the course is to prepare operators with basic knowledge on PFAS, GenX, and EDC as they become concerns for the general public.
