Job Description: Punalu’u Water and Sanitation (PWS) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Water and Wastewater Operator to join our team. PWS provides water and wastewater services to approximately 90 homes and a County Park located near Black Sands Beach on the Island of Hawaii. This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of water production and chlorination, water distribution, wastewater collections, and wastewater treatment systems. The hourly salary range is between $30.00 to $45.00, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements:
- Possess strong mechanical knowledge, analytical skills and commitment to maintaining water quality.
- A valid Hawaii Distribution System Operator (DSO) Grade 1 or higher or the ability to obtain within 3 months through reciprocity.
- A valid Hawaii Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Grade 2 or higher or the ability to obtain within 3 months through reciprocity.

$75,000 - $85,000/year (Exempt)
