Course Description
This class will teach the basic understanding for PFAS within water and wastewater industries and why they are now being discussed. The topics covered are the UCMR, what PFAS are, where do they come from, health effects and how
can they be treated. This class includes both presentation and video instruction along with time allotted for a roundtable discussion.

Virtual Classroom Rules:
1. Individuals wishing to participate must be able to access the class via computer, tablet or smart device that has a camera, speaker, and microphone.
2. Individuals must register by the deadline stated below.
3. Virtual classes will be provided via “Go-to-Meeting” software. It is not necessary to download the app to participate, however, connection is faster with the app. A registration confirmation with the class link will be sent to you via email.
4. To be eligible for CEUs, each participant must be visible and able to communicate with the instructor throughout the entire class.
